AITnet is a nationwide provider of event logistic services, and the reference in simultaneous translation services in Canada. We are looking for partners based anywhere in Canada to locally perform event logistic projects emanating from our Canadian and international clients who organise their gatherings throughout the country. These projects primarily comprise recurrent Canadian and international organisations meetings, such as conferences, congresses, or conventions, and a variety of single corporate meetings.
We do not provide rental equipment to individuals for personal use. We partner exclusively with event logistic companies, such as audiovisual equipment rental providers, event/conference management companies or association management companies providing services in any Canadian province. You will fulfill AV requirements for events taking place throughout Canada. You will take the lead technical role in organising, setting up and running events in which your experience in audio, video and lighting is required. You will communicate with our national and international clients to ensure adequate set up and functionality of all rental equipment, offering them your technical assistance as required. You will compose and email quotes following up on requests for quotes (RFQs) received from clients. You will procure, negotiate and manage subrental contracts of audiovisual equipment and personnel from our partners based in all Canadian provinces.
Audiovisual Telecoordinators do not have to commute to the AIT Network’s offices to manage their event logistics projects.They manage them from their home offices or from remote locations by using the information and telecommunication tools that the Network provides them at no cost. By means of these tools, Audiovisual Telecoordinators can easily communicate with event managers from organizations planning events in Canada, whether these organizations are located here in Canada or abroad. Audiovisual Telecoordinators do not communicate with event managers to solicit contracts from them, but rather to request information on their logistic requirements for upcoming events, mostly by email and seldom by phone.
You will set-up, ensure proper operation and dismantle audio visual equipment. You will set-up, ensure proper operation and dismantle simultaneous translation equipment, including radiators, transmitters, soundproof booths and tabletop booths.You will maintain and establish contact on-site with our clients and other in-house audiovisual technicians. You will move audiovisual and translation equipment from/into our storage site. You will move audiovisual and translation equipment from/into events premises. You will load and unload audiovisual and simultaneous translation equipment into/from our delivery/pickup vans. During events, you will handle, distribute and collect simultaneous translation receivers being used by attendees. You will make sound tests before the beginning of events' sessions. During events'sessions, you will monitor the sound volume level of interpreters' headphones. During events'sessions, you will monitor the channels providing simultaneous translation to event attendees.
On-site position in events held anytime and anywhere in Canada. Traveling may therefore be required.

You will request from clients information needed by interpreters to carry on their interpreting sessions. You will provide interpreters with information on their interpreting sessions.
Interpreting Telecoordinators do not have to commute to the AIT Network’s offices to manage their event logistics projects.They can manage them from their home offices or from remote locations by using the information and telecommunication tools that the Network provides them at no cost. By means of these tools, telecoordinators can easily communicate with event managers from organizations planning events in Canada, whether these organizations are located here in Canada or abroad. Telecoordinators do not communicate with event managers to solicit contracts from them, but rather to request information on their logistic requirements for upcoming events, mostly by email and seldom by phone. If you are an interpreter or translator, besides monetary rewards, and other benefits and privileges, telecoordinators are also entitled to priority status with regard to all projects assigned by the AIT Network, i.e., pre-eminence of assignation in projects issuing from their management of logistics events; and precedence of rank assignation in projects managed by other telecoordinators and office coordinators.
